COVID-19 UPDATE

Hello Mountain Bikers!

Your safety is our priority! We want to share with you the extra precautions Tahoe Mountain Bike Academy is taking during lessons and clinics to keep you and our Instructors safe and help prevent the spread of COVID-19.  We are working with parks, local, state, and government agencies to be fully compliant to health and safety guidelines during this time.  To minimize the risk of transmission all Instructors have been asked to follow procedures that have been developed in accordance with guidelines from the CDC, WHO, and local government agencies. Including use of PPE and maintaining safe social distances. We ask that our clients also take measures to stay safe and comfortable during their session.

During all lessons please:

  • Maintain a 6-foot distance whenever possible between each rider.

    • There may be times when riders are closer, such as when passing others on a trail, but all riders should be diligent about respecting a safe distance between other riders when circumstances allow.

  • Wash hands or use hand sanitizer – we will have sanitizer readily available.

  • Cover mouth and nose with a tissue or elbow when coughing or sneezing, then wash your hands or use hand sanitizer.

  • Instructors will guide each participant to perform their own bike and equipment check. In the event that we need to touch someone else’s bike to help with set-up or repair, we will do so at a safe distance from the participant and sanitize properly before and after.

  • Please bring a face mask to wear when circumstances dictate that you will be closer than 6 ft from others.

Thank you for your support and flexibility during this challenging time! We look forward to riding with you out on the trails!
